The development of Papa Knows began while Geralyn was pregnant with her first child. She needed to exercise her creativity by hand-making various gifts for family and friends. Each product with the Papa Knows name seeks to be unusual, ensuring sophistication and style without compromising quality work and practicality.

Since early childhood, Geralyn has always expressed some sort of creativity, from drawing on the walls to pretending she was as clever as Jayne Fisher (child-author of the Garden Gang series, Ladybird Books). She loves vintage ephemera and fashion, old movies and Gregory Peck.
